Since the CDMA internet connection was not sufficient for the Internet access our ISP, Sri Lanka Telecom    provided a Data Radio Connectionon 25 July 2007.

The Sri Lanka Telecom team arrived at Nihiluwa on 25 July, 2007. They fixed 40 feet high antenna closer to the computer lab and checked the signal strength using sophisticated equipments. Their first  attempt  ailed. Then they decided to remove main antenna from Beliatta tower and directed it to Hakmana tower. Thereafter storng signals were received to the computer lab.

Since then the students are working faster than they did. Slow internet was a barrier but now that problem is fixed.
